GORGEOUS SUMMER AFTERNOON IN THE ROCKIES!

This is why I love living in Utah. We had a couple of commitments in Salt Lake City yesterday, spread out by several hours, so we decided to head up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Albion Basin, part of the Alta Ski Resort. We were thinking the wildflowers might be past their prime. Not at all! They were gorgeous, as this photo by my multi-talented husband attests. The lupine and indian paintbrush were lush and brilliant. Is it any wonder I find inspiration in the mountains?!
